Recent Disney Trip and Advice

While we're on the topic of Disney, Suzanne, Makela, and I just got back from DisneyWorld in Orlando. I thought I'd mention some things that might make your planning easier. First, there are four parks. Animal Kingdom, Magic Kingdom, Epcot Center, and Universal Studios. Each has cool stuff to see. The problem is that generally your ticket only allows you into one park--you choose. So let me tell you prices so you have something to plan for (we were able to get into all four parks for free because of a special arrangement made for my political activities down there).

Entrance into a single park costs $79 per person for a one day pass. I'm certain each of you will be able to find a place to buy discount passes. If you decide you want to go into more than one park, it costs an additional $52 for the multi park add-on. We decided that the best way to do this was to pick one park that you want to spend the most time in, and not buy the add-on for that day, and then the next day you make time for two parks of your choosing and pay the add-on for one day.

Keep in mind that this will be in August and not only will it be blazingly hot, but the lines will not be short. Bring lots of water and dress cool (and have sunscreen!). Just my two cents.
