Lyssi and Brennan was our musical number for church on Sunday. It was beautiful. Everyone really enjoyed enjoyed it. Everytime I hear Lyssi and Ems play~I am so thankful that Teddie taught them to love the piano. They really enjoy it and for that I am grateful. They keep getting better and better. Thank you Teddie.

Happy birthday Keturah
I don't know if Keturah gets on this blog very often, but on the off chance that she does, allow me to take this opportunity to wish you (Keturah) a very happy birthday. I hope all is going well with you.

Why we're all so healthy!
Remember cracked wheat for breakfast, brewers yeast in your morning OJ (that was major incentive by the way to dash down at the first clang of the cowbell and drink my OJ BEFORE mom had a chance to put brewers yeast in it), TW3 (That Was The Week That Was) stew, soybean chili, soybean meatloaf, soybean peanut butter? Ahh, I'll never forget the chewy texture of beef tongue, that wonderful aroma and flavor of breaded liver and onions (aka salisbury steak). We lived on a farm with plenty of milk, but as the model for the churches "Provident Living" website, we had to mix powdered milk in with the fresh milk? The dinner table rules: "OK now, I'm putting the pancake batter on the griddle, so whoever says the prayer gets those pancakes if they are burned." or "If you spill on the table cloth (aka bedsheet) it's going on your bed tonight!" Well someone sent me a link to a video and it brought back a flood of memories I thought the rest of you might appreciate as well! Enjoy.

Our New Bedroom Wall Border

We are slowly redecorating this house and have painted our bedroom a pretty periwinkle blue. Curtains and bedspread to match. Brennan routed for us new base boards which we painted white. We were talking about a border for the bedroom and Dad said why not use the children's pictures. We are sure that you all will remember the 8x10 pictures that Dad and Mom had along a wall in their house. We resized and copied them to get them all about the same size and then made templates to be copied. We made about eight copies of each child's picture, including Harriet's daughter, Mary Ellen. During the Christmas break from Harriet's work, we applied the pictures. They look wonderful! And so unique. There is no other in the world like it! We thought that you would like to see them, too. Love, Dad and Harriet
